Responsibilities
- Create and maintain automated tests using modern development techniques.
- Apply automated integration, regression, and unit tests across application layers and delivery pipelines.
- Produce and analyze quality metrics to support engineering decisions.
- Triage test failures and maintain build pipeline health.
- Collaborate with development, product, operations, and support teams to embed quality into development.
- Participate in product, test, and infrastructure code reviews.
- Support customer escalations and help prevent escaped defects.
- Follow applicable security policies and secure software development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related quantitative field.
- 2–5 years of professional experience in software development or automated testing using Python or similar languages.
- Experience with integration, regression, and unit testing.
- Working experience with Oracle or PostgreSQL relational databases.
- Familiarity with cloud environments and cloud concepts.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Git, Gerrit, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Preferred experience designing, implementing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Python.
- Preferred experience with Python, Java, or Golang and with software architecture and testing principles.
- Preferred exposure to BDD and I18N testing, performance and resiliency testing, Linux, Kubernetes, and container-based application development.
