Base Salary
$180k - $220k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build, manage, and optimize infrastructure using Terraform, GitHub CI/CD, and Kubernetes.
- Create visualizations and alerts for actionable insights using monitoring tools.
- Identify and automate manual processes to enhance reliability.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues across application and infrastructure layers.
- Document knowledge in runbooks, setup guides, and architecture diagrams.
- Collaborate with engineers to promote DevOps and infrastructure best practices.
- Scale infrastructure and monitoring systems to meet growing demands.
- Participate in an on-call rotation for incident response.
Requirements
- Experience with observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus/Mimir, OpenSearch, or Sentry.
- Proficient in Terraform, Kubernetes, and containerization tools.
- 5+ years of programming experience with Python.
- Comfortable working in Linux-based environments and writing shell scripts.
- Strong collaboration skills with a focus on written communication.
- Commitment to clear documentation and process standardization.
- Self-starter mindset with a proactive approach to operational challenges.
- Skilled in Git/GitHub-based workflows.
