Base Salary
$212k - $293k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead infrastructure resiliency efforts involving recovery mechanisms, tenant isolation, and load-spike handling.
- Improve system observability and operability.
- Build performance-critical, user-facing infrastructure such as real-time event processing.
- Plan scaling initiatives for significant customer growth.
- Partner with engineering teams to build reliable product features.
- Mentor fellow engineers on observability, rollout strategies, and risk mitigation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of software engineering experience.
- 4+ years of experience in infrastructure.
- Experience investigating and debugging complex errors and performance issues.
- Ability to design scalable infrastructure and reason about edge cases, failure modes, and bottlenecks.
- Ability to mentor engineers on engineering best practices.
