Junior Azure DevOps Engineer

- Design, build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines.
- Automate software build, testing, validation, packaging, deployment, and release processes.
- Develop Python scripts and automation tools for engineering and operational workflows.
- Provision, configure, and maintain cloud infrastructure and development environments.
- Manage source control, branching strategies, build systems, artifact management, and release workflows.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code and configuration automation.
- Manage software dependencies, environment configurations, credentials, secrets, and deployment settings.
- Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational health checks.
- Troubleshoot build failures, deployment issues, infrastructure problems, networking, and environment configuration challenges.
- Improve system reliability, deployment consistency, release quality, and developer productivity through automation.
- Support containerized applications and deployment environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers and technical stakeholders on development, testing, and deployment workflows.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Evaluate and implement tools that improve automation, infrastructure management, and engineering workflows.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field.
- At least 2 years of hands-on experience in DevOps, CI/CD, build engineering, or release engineering.
- Strong Python programming and scripting skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure or another major cloud platform.
- Experience with Git and modern source control workflows.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent platforms.
- Understanding of software build, testing, deployment, and release processes.
- Experience troubleshooting infrastructure, build, deployment, and environment issues.
- Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating environments.
- Ability to independently investigate technical problems, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
- Strong technical communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Preferred: experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates, Ansible, monitoring and observability solutions, networking, identity and access management, certificates, secrets management, cloud security, and development through production environments.
- Preferred: experience automating AI model training, deployment pipelines, or machine learning engineering workflows.
- Preferred: experience in large-scale technology or enterprise engineering environments.
