Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for designing, developing, and implementing banking and fintech solutions.
- Lead development of document management and workflow capabilities covering document generation, capture, archiving, and signing.
- Ensure architectural best practices, technology standards, security, scalability, and performance across financial products.
- Lead code reviews, technical discussions, mentoring sessions, and engineering team collaboration.
- Establish and lead Communities of Practice covering Software Engineering, QA and Test Automation, DevOps, and Cloud.
- Develop engineering frameworks, guidelines, and accelerators, and promote automation, CI/CD, cloud-native adoption, and shift-left testing.
- Optimize deployment pipelines and collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, suppliers, and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Solid technical background in banking and fintech solutions with hands-on software development and architecture experience.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar technologies.
- Expertise in microservices architecture, API development, and event-driven systems.
- Strong technical leadership experience, including leading teams to successful outcomes.
- Understanding of financial-sector regulations and strong problem-solving, decision-making, analytical, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Experience building document management services with SharePoint Online and/or AWS services is a major advantage.
- Fluent spoken and written English is required for pan-Baltic collaboration.
