Responsibilities
- Bring up new devices and lead debugging and performance tuning exercises.
- Design, implement, and maintain drivers and Android services for embedded systems.
- Own work streams focused on hardware bring-up and performance management.
- Analyze bug reports and manage the defect resolution process.
- Interact with global teams to provide support information.
- Perform code reviews to ensure high-quality designs and implementations.
- Assist in ensuring quality and timeliness of product development.
Requirements
- 4+ years of software engineering experience in device driver development or embedded systems.
- 2+ years of experience with mobile or connected devices.
- Experience with automated testing and inter-component communication protocols.
- Proficiency in C/C++ or Kotlin/Java.
- Knowledge of operating systems, particularly custom Android or embedded Linux.
- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with telemetry data monitoring and parsing.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese.
