Responsibilities
- Own technical workstreams from discovery and solution design through implementation, deployment, validation, and handover.
- Lead customer workshops and translate business and technical requirements into documented Azure solutions.
- Design and present secure, reliable, scalable, and cost-effective Azure architectures and Landing Zones.
- Advise on cloud adoption, migration, modernization, platform engineering, governance, and operational excellence.
- Develop Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and/or Azure Bicep.
- Design and improve CI/CD practices using Azure DevOps or comparable platforms.
- Implement secure Azure solutions with appropriate identity, access management, compliance, testing, and deployment controls.
- Support cloud-native platforms using containers, Kubernetes, and Azure Kubernetes Service.
- Embed observability, monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, rollback, and supportability into solutions.
- Conduct architecture reviews, technical assurance, incident investigations, and root-cause analysis.
- Contribute to proposals, solution estimates, technical presentations, and pre-sales engagements.
- Mentor consultants and engineers through knowledge sharing, design reviews, and technical coaching.
Requirements
- Significant hands-on experience designing, building, deploying, and supporting Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Experience with cloud-native solutions using containers, Kubernetes, Azure Kubernetes Service, and microservices architectures.
- Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Azure Bicep and CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or a comparable platform.
- Experience architecting enterprise Azure platforms using landing-zone principles, secure connectivity, governance, resilience, and operational sustainability.
- Track record of leading technical discovery and customer discussions and translating requirements into solution designs.
- Ability to document architecture, explain design decisions and trade-offs, and communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ownership of technical workstreams through implementation, validation, deployment, and handover.
- Understanding of operational readiness, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery requirements.
- Relevant Microsoft Azure certifications are highly desirable, including Azure Administrator Associate AZ-104, Azure Solutions Architect Expert AZ-305, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert AZ-400, HashiCorp Terraform Associate, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator.
