Base Salary
$158k - $214k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and own cloud services connecting robot fleets to customer experiences and internal operations.
- Build operational telemetry ingestion pipelines for high-frequency robot signals.
- Select technologies, document architectural decisions, and establish patterns for a growing team.
- Own services from design and implementation through deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Participate in on-call and drive incident response.
- Collaborate with science, engineering, product, and operations teams to define requirements and operationalize workflows.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems for reliability and scaling.
- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- At least 3 years of leading design or architecture for new and existing systems.
- Experience working in a cloud-based development and production environment such as AWS.
- Experience owning a service end to end, including design, implementation, deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
- Preferred experience includes physical-device backends, fleet connectivity, MQTT, device identity and certificate management, offline-tolerant synchronization, IoT platforms, real-time telemetry, streaming, over-the-air updates, connected-device security, infrastructure as code, operational tooling, and robotics or related domains.
