Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and architectural guidance to multiple platform and application development teams.
- Design, assess, review, test, and implement architecture and design patterns aligned with business requirements.
- Contribute hands-on software development and ensure systems are flexible, loosely coupled, scalable, reliable, secure, and performant.
- Establish and improve software delivery practices aligned with Agile and lean principles.
- Support automation across continuous integration, continuous deployment, and operational monitoring processes.
- Measure operational metrics and validate that solutions meet customer and business needs.
- Mentor engineers, promote skill development, and drive engineering excellence through reviews and best practices.
- Engage business partners and senior stakeholders on prioritization, performance metrics, technical decisions, and delivery governance.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of software development experience.
- Proficiency in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern UI frameworks or libraries.
- Expertise in API design, gRPC, RESTful services, scalable web applications, web components, micro front-end architecture, and responsive UI development.
- Experience with Python and/or Golang, microservices, domain-driven design, and distributed systems.
- Experience with PostgreSQL or similar SQL databases, Redis, automated unit and integration testing, Git, Linux, networking, scripting, debugging, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of application security, OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, OWASP guidelines, and secure coding practices.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, build and release pipelines, CI/CD, and public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Knowledge of modern data architectures, including event-driven architectures, stream processing, real-time analytics, data democratization, and platforms supporting AI/ML at scale.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, mentoring, decision-making, collaboration, and cross-cultural teamwork skills.
