Base Salary
$207k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build new features for gemini.google.com by integrating cutting-edge AI capabilities.
- Deliver advanced model enhancements to gemini.google.com users.
- Continuously improve user-facing product quality and deliver state-of-the-art model capabilities tailored to user needs.
- Solve complex technical challenges and launch products within legal, privacy, latency, and TPU cost constraints.
- Use software design, architecture, quantitative analysis, and quality improvement processes to identify and address product opportunities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- Experience in full-stack engineering and user-facing product development across frontend, such as web or mobile, and backend services.
- Experience with software design and architecture.
- Preferred: master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Preferred: ability to navigate quality hillclimb processes and use quantitative analytical skills to identify product opportunities.
- Preferred: judgment in anticipating and mitigating privacy, legal compliance, public relations, marketing, and safety risks.
- Preferred: track record of optimizing system performance and reducing latency.
Benefits
- US base salary of $207000 - $300000, plus a 20% bonus target, equity, and benefits.
