Base Salary
$138k - $197k/yr
Responsibilities
- Present technical sessions and workshops at conferences, meetups, and developer events.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on developer messaging and Android product improvements.
- Evaluate Android development in an agentic coding era and provide input to improve AI-generated Android code.
- Develop expertise in foundational Android areas and identify opportunities to improve products for users.
- Engage external developers, generate insights, write guidance and example code, author blog posts, design APIs, propose product changes, and influence engineering plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 3 years of work experience in a technical role or equivalent technical experience.
- Experience building for Android using Kotlin.
- Experience with UI development.
- Preferred: 5 years of Android software development experience.
- Preferred: 3 years as a technical practitioner in a developer community.
- Preferred: cross-functional stakeholder experience, large-audience technical presentation experience, and experience using AI agents.
