Base Salary
$140k - $260k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop new and existing sponsorship experiences in the core iOS app for creators and audiences.
- Contribute to product direction and brainstorming for sponsorship experiences.
- Iterate on mobile and web product flows and run A/B tests.
- Own work from product concept and research through implementation, experimentation, and measurement.
- Collaborate with designers, writers, support staff, customers, and sponsorship partners.
- Lead iOS code review, mentorship, and thoughtful technical architecture for the Sponsorships team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of software engineering experience.
- Experience shipping high-quality native iOS applications to the App Store.
- SwiftUI and UIKit experience is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously while taking ownership of work.
- Strong standards for production systems and product quality.
- Interest in building elegant product experiences and collaborating with diverse teams.
- Experience at a fast-growing startup or on a high-performing growth team is a plus, but not required.
- Alignment with Substack’s mission to support independent writers and creators.
