Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain native Android features using Kotlin, handling small-to-medium features independently and moderately complex work with guidance.
- Write clean, maintainable code, participate in peer reviews, and uphold coding and testing standards.
- Collaborate with Product and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Troubleshoot and debug common and moderately complex issues, including production issues with minimal support.
- Assist with deployment and monitoring, contribute to reliable distributed systems, and implement resilience mechanisms as appropriate.
- Maintain and optimize the delivery pipeline, including code quality, testing, and deployment practices.
- Participate in team ceremonies, continuous learning, and active on-call duties.
- Use Claude Code and participate in hands-on AI training for modern AI coding agents and IDEs.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of software engineering experience focused on native mobile development.
- Proficiency in native Android development using Kotlin, including moderately complex features and algorithms.
- Experience with version control tools such as GitHub and CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions.
- Proficiency writing and maintaining unit and integration tests.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, and technical communication skills.
