Responsibilities
- Build and maintain iOS payment flows covering checkout, wallet balances, re-spend, withdrawals, refunds, seller onboarding, and tax capture.
- Contribute to the migration of payments surfaces from UIKit to SwiftUI.
- Own features end to end by breaking down work, driving delivery, and identifying risks early.
- Write automated tests and address edge cases, failure modes, and correctness requirements.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product, and design across disciplines.
Requirements
- Solid commercial experience developing with Swift.
- Understanding of memory management, concurrency including async/await and actors, and state in complex flows.
- Production SwiftUI experience or UIKit experience with a clear understanding of incremental migration.
- Comfort with MVVM-C or similar coordination patterns.
- Ability to prioritize correctness and independently own features end to end.
- Experience working collaboratively with backend engineering, product, and design.
- Preferred: experience with payment SDKs such as Stripe or PayPal.
- Preferred: experience in marketplace or fintech environments.
- Preferred: familiarity with modularized iOS codebases and build-time optimization.
- Preferred: experience with payments, identity, authentication, or other correctness-critical flows.
- Preferred: experience with modern mobile CI/CD, Bitrise, GitHub Actions, merge queue workflows, Swift Testing, or XCTest.
