Responsibilities
- Build and maintain payment flows including wallet balances, re-spend, withdrawals, refunds, seller onboarding, checkout, and tax capture.
- Contribute to the migration of payments surfaces from UIKit to SwiftUI.
- Own features end to end by breaking down work, driving delivery, identifying risks, and seeking help when appropriate.
- Write automated tests and account for edge cases, correctness, and failure modes.
- Collaborate with backend engineers, product, design, and senior engineers.
Requirements
- Solid commercial experience with Swift, including memory management and concurrency using async/await and actors.
- Production experience with SwiftUI or UIKit experience with a clear understanding of incremental migration.
- Comfort with MVVM-C or a similar coordination pattern.
- Demonstrated ability to own features end to end and work effectively across disciplines.
- Preferred experience with payment SDKs such as Stripe or PayPal, marketplace or fintech environments, modularized iOS codebases, and build-time optimization.
- Preferred experience with modern mobile CI/CD, including Bitrise or GitHub Actions, and with Swift Testing or XCTest.
