Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and deploy features across Java and Spring Boot backend services, Angular and TypeScript web applications, and native iOS applications.
- Develop secure, scalable, multi-tenant backend services, REST APIs, authentication systems, and enterprise integrations.
- Build and maintain iOS applications using Swift, SwiftUI, modern iOS frameworks, and established architecture patterns.
- Extend Python services and AI-agent integrations supporting software delivery automation and AI-powered workflows.
- Design APIs with OpenAPI specifications and generated client integrations.
- Implement security, authorization, encryption, credential management, tenant data isolation, performance, and reliability controls.
- Develop automated unit, integration, end-to-end, backend, web, and mobile tests and participate in debugging, deployment, and App Store releases.
- Integrate with Salesforce, GitHub, Bitbucket, Jira, Slack, and other enterprise platforms.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, Docker-based builds, AWS deployments, code reviews, documentation, and production troubleshooting.
- Evaluate AI-generated code and collaborate with Product and Engineering teams on AI-enabled product opportunities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience building and shipping production applications.
- Professional experience developing and releasing native iOS applications, with strong hands-on experience in Swift, SwiftUI, Xcode, and the iOS development lifecycle.
- Experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs, authentication systems, and backend services.
- Strong Java experience with Spring Boot, Spring Security, REST APIs, and modern enterprise development practices.
- Strong Angular and TypeScript experience building modern web applications.
- Working proficiency in Python and experience maintaining or extending Python services, with familiarity with pytest, FastAPI, and Pydantic.
- Strong understanding of PostgreSQL, database design, migrations, indexing, and query optimization.
- Experience designing and integrating REST APIs using OpenAPI specifications.
- Understanding of secure application development, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Experience with automated testing across backend, web, and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Docker, AWS cloud services, CI/CD pipelines, Git, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows.
- Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum development environments and strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Preferred qualifications include Salesforce ecosystem experience, enterprise mobile or SaaS experience, UIKit, mobile CI/CD, automated iOS testing, App Store Connect, push notifications, secure local storage, offline capabilities, AI and LLM engineering, regulated environments, agent frameworks, tool use, Model Context Protocol, and prompt engineering.
Benefits
- Remote role; candidates must live in and be eligible to work in the US.
- Compensation is $150,000 - $170,000 depending on experience.
