Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and contribute to functional and technical specifications.
- Develop, test, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications across the software development lifecycle.
- Perform corrective and evolutionary maintenance, including bug fixing and change requests.
- Implement features according to business priorities and roadmap requirements.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation.
- Deploy applications across production and non-production environments.
- Collaborate with Agile teams, Product Owners, business stakeholders, and multiple squads.
- Support different ICare business lines and progressively build expertise in assigned applications and domains.
- Contribute to code quality, development best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- Strong full-stack development experience with Java and Angular.
- Experience with Java 11–21, Spring Framework, Spring Boot 3, Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, Angular 17–21, NG Prime Components, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Experience with Jest, Hibernate ORM, Lombok, Liquibase, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
- Experience with SOAP and REST web services, Kafka, Kafka Connect, Kubernetes, container-based solutions, HashiCorp Vault, Maven, Git, Jenkins, and IntelliJ IDEA.
- Experience with Jira, DevOps practices and toolchains, Scrum, Agile methodologies, and AI-assisted development.
- Banking or life insurance experience is advantageous.
- Ability to work across business domains and squads and in multicultural international environments.
- Fluency in English and French.
- Availability for occasional travel within Portugal and internationally.
