Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Develop and maintain RESTful APIs, backend systems, CRUD applications, and integrations with external APIs.
- Work with clients and stakeholders to investigate complex business problems and design end-to-end analytical solutions.
- Optimize applications for speed and scalability and troubleshoot issues affecting performance and user experience.
- Collaborate with design and product teams to implement user-friendly interfaces.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical documentation and user guides.
- Work independently on client engagements, manage individual workstreams, and collaborate with or lead small teams of one to two people.
- Contribute to practice development, business development, and innovative company initiatives.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent experience.
- At least four years of frontend and backend application development experience.
- Experience managing stakeholders, collaborating with customers, and working in consulting environments.
- Proficiency with React or a comparable design framework and strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Proficiency in one or more backend languages, preferably Python, Java, C#, or Golang, with the ability to learn new languages and frameworks.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and preferred proficiency in SQL and relational database systems.
- Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks or Snowflake is a plus.
- Knowledge of web development security practices, version control systems, CI/CD, testing frameworks, and production release processes.
- Preferred experience with code instrumentation, monitoring, observability systems, cloud platforms, and container technologies.
- Required experience using AI-assisted development tools such as Codex or Claude Code.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, teamwork, and attention-to-detail skills.
