Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications and features using Golang and React.
- Build and maintain distributed architecture that scales while preserving consistency.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design products and deliver solutions.
- Develop and collect metrics to drive continuous product improvement.
- Deliver high-quality, testable features that follow reporting standards.
- Lead small development teams as needed to bring projects to market.
- Mentor engineering teammates and help elevate their skills.
- Collaborate with Product, Support, business stakeholders, and engineering teams on internal and customer-facing problems.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Experience building and serving REST APIs using Go, Java, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience working with distributed, cloud-based architecture, including transactional outboxes or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
- Demonstrated experience working with Claude or equivalent large language model tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience building consensus, introducing ideas, and determining effective technical solutions.
- Preferred experience with SQL-based relational databases through an ORM.
- Familiarity with Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog for production monitoring and alerting.
- Preferred DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with containerized microservice architectures deployed with Kubernetes on AWS.
- Demonstrated experience delivering commercial APIs and web applications.
- A record of bringing products to market and prioritizing improvements based on stakeholder and customer feedback.
