Responsibilities
- Design and develop software applications and features in Go and React.
- Build scalable solutions within a distributed architecture.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to design products and features.
- Develop and collect metrics to drive continuous product improvement.
- Deliver high-quality, testable features that follow reporting standards.
- Lead small development teams as needed to bring projects to market.
- Mentor engineering teammates and help elevate their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of full-stack software engineering experience.
- Experience developing and serving APIs using Go, Java, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience with distributed, cloud-based architecture and transactional outboxes or queuing tools such as RabbitMQ, SQS, or Kafka.
- Required experience using Claude or equivalent large language model tools to improve productivity, research, and communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Experience building ideas, reaching consensus, and delivering commercial APIs and web applications.
- Preferred experience with SQL-based relational databases through an ORM.
- Preferred experience with Prometheus, New Relic, or Datadog for production monitoring and alerting.
- Preferred DevOps experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with containerized microservice architectures deployed with Kubernetes on AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize solutions based on stakeholder or customer feedback and deliver products to market.
