Base Salary
$135k - $170k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and support scalable production systems for the ticket marketplace Orders team.
- Help lead the direction of technology systems and develop experiments, algorithms, and features that improve marketplace value and efficiency.
- Collaborate with development teams and business stakeholders to deliver business objectives iteratively.
- Design, build, test, deploy, observe, and improve web or cross-platform mobile applications.
- Contribute to planning, estimation, design sessions, software development practices, and team efficiency improvements.
- Mentor engineers through pairing, code reviews, and technical talks.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience building and supporting production web applications.
- Strong experience with Java, Python, Node.js, or similar backend technologies.
- Experience designing, building, and testing modern web or cross-platform mobile solutions in an agile or cross-functional team.
- Experience with client-side application state libraries such as Redux or Zustand.
- Experience with frontend testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or Enzyme.
- Frontend experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js is preferred.
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, including documenting and sharing team best practices.
- Exposure to design systems and A/B testing.
- A proactive approach to experimenting with and integrating AI tools to improve efficiency.
