Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot applications using Adobe ColdFusion and CFML.
- Analyze legacy application modules, business rules, interfaces, and database dependencies.
- Implement enhancements, defect corrections, urgent changes, regulatory updates, and approved requirements.
- Develop and optimize Microsoft SQL Server queries, stored procedures, scripts, and database interactions.
- Translate RFCs, user stories, and acceptance criteria into secure, maintainable code.
- Collaborate with business analysts, system administrators, testers, Government stakeholders, and customer stakeholders.
- Perform developer testing, defect resolution, application troubleshooting, database troubleshooting, integration troubleshooting, and production support.
- Use Git-based source control, merge requests, code reviews, and controlled release processes.
- Remediate Fortify and custom static-code scanning findings and follow secure coding practices.
- Support weekly expedited releases and planned monthly production releases.
- Document code, technical decisions, module behavior, deployment considerations, legacy business rules, and recurring support procedures.
Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance are required.
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience, is required.
- At least five years of software-development experience is required.
- At least five years of hands-on Adobe ColdFusion/CFML development experience is required.
- Strong experience maintaining and enhancing complex legacy applications is required.
- Strong Microsoft SQL Server development and troubleshooting experience is required.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, web-application development, Git-based source control, and code-review processes is required.
- Experience diagnosing application, database, integration, and production-support issues is required.
- Preferred qualifications include DISA or Department of Defense experience, Jira, GitLab, Jenkins, Fortify, or comparable DevSecOps tools.
- Preferred qualifications include familiarity with PKI, CAC authentication, SSO, ICAM, RMF, STIGs, ACAS/Tenable, SCAP, POA&Ms, and secure software-development requirements.
- Preferred qualifications include Agile development, RFC-driven work, fast-track releases, customer UAT, legacy-system documentation, and migration or modernization initiatives.
- Candidates should work independently, take ownership with limited supervision, and communicate effectively with technical teams and customer stakeholders.
