Responsibilities
- Lead or facilitate comprehensive end-to-end solution design and delivery estimation for technology applications.
- Own the technical design and delivery of system design specifications based on stakeholder requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical solutions aligned with engineering, architectural, enterprise, and industry standards.
- Plan, evaluate, recommend, design, operationalize, and support efficient, reliable, scalable, and secure solutions.
- Lead system and application administration, installation, configuration, provisioning, platform planning, integration, and release or deployment management.
- Collaborate with senior technology team members, solution architects, business units, portfolio and project managers, vendors, and developers.
- Present recommendations to senior management and support application ownership and AI use-case implementation.
Requirements
- Undergraduate bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or IT; a graduate degree in an Engineering stream or relevant work experience may also qualify.
- At least 7 years of mainframe technology experience covering design, development, and delivery.
- At least 5 years of technology lead experience involving large-scale or transformation projects with complex technology integration design.
- Experience in one or more of debit cards, credit cards, card payments, authentication and authorization, or retail banking.
- Experience with COBOL, JCL, IMS DB/DC, IMS databases, DB2, MQ, Endevor, and CA7.
- Preferred knowledge of ATM, POS, digital channels, call centre ecosystems, Interac, Visa, global payment standards, PCI standards, EMV standards, CBA standards, distributed technology integration, SAS, Assembler, or IBM Pervasive Encryption.
- Ability to build effective relationships, present recommendations to senior management, foster productivity and innovation, and work collaboratively.

- Base salary range of CAD 81,600–115,200.
