Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs for Seller Hub experiences.
- Contribute to modern web applications that support seller workflows.
- Lead projects independently from technical design through implementation, testing, rollout, and iteration.
- Contribute to system design and architecture decisions.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and help improve engineering standards.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers across work streams as priorities evolve.
Requirements
- Strong software engineering experience with deep backend development expertise.
- Strong proficiency in Java and hands-on experience building services with Spring Boot.
- Experience designing and building scalable distributed systems, services, or APIs.
- Frontend experience with React, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Ability and willingness to contribute across the full stack.
- Strong system design or architecture experience.
- Demonstrated experience leading projects and driving delivery with high ownership.
- Understanding of software design, testing, debugging, and engineering best practices.
- Experience working in agile, collaborative engineering teams.
- Experience with Scala is preferred.
- Experience building enterprise-scale products and customer-facing e-commerce or marketplace products is preferred.
