Base Salary
$168k - $262k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own and drive the technical strategy for foundational iOS components and native video playback infrastructure.
- Architect and build robust WebView infrastructure for seamless integration between React-based web content and native iOS functionality.
- Lead performance optimization efforts for platform components used by millions of daily active users.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to iOS engineers across multiple product teams.
- Drive cross-organizational architectural decisions balancing developer velocity, app performance, and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and maintain development standards for hybrid mobile applications.
Requirements
- 6+ years of professional iOS development experience.
- Strong proficiency with Swift and the iOS architectural components and ecosystem.
- 6+ years of building and shipping production iOS applications to the Apple App Store.
- A talent for building consensus around technical decisions and guiding the team along evolving architecture patterns.
- Track record of leading major architectural initiatives, migrations, or platform-level projects.
- Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar across teams.
- Experience leveraging AI-powered development tools to accelerate development.
