Base Salary
$153k - $230k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build intuitive, stable mobile experiences for Robinhood Wallet using Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, and modern Android APIs.
- Lead product features from ideation and technical design through implementation, testing, and release.
- Design scalable mobile architectures and maintain high-quality, secure, and maintainable codebases.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, data scientists, and external blockchain partners.
- Champion mobile development standards, code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical integrations.
- Mentor developers and raise engineering standards across the team.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional Android application development experience.
- Proficiency with Kotlin and/or Java and strong knowledge of the Android SDK and MVVM architecture patterns.
- Experience with Jetpack Compose, Coroutines and Flow or RxJava, Retrofit, and Room.
- Ability to mentor peers, lead complex projects, and influence architecture decisions.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a product-focused perspective.
- Experience with DeFi protocols, crypto wallets, blockchain-related companies, EVM blockchains, or smart contracts is preferred.
