Base Salary
$160k - $180k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and build advanced Android applications for financial-services clients.
- Collaborate with team leadership, product owners, designers, and technologists to deliver enterprise and public-store applications.
- Lead development of new mobile capabilities supporting market expansion and evolving regulatory requirements.
- Contribute to software architecture, engineering best practices, technology adoption, and technical solutions for complex client problems.
- Ensure code quality, usability, reliability, and resilience through testing and engineering best practices.
- Resolve defects and improve application performance by analyzing and optimizing code.
- Work directly with clients and influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience designing and building complex, commercial-grade software systems.
- Proficiency in Kotlin and native Android development tools, including Jetpack Compose.
- Experience with consumer banking applications, including account management and onboarding.
- Familiarity with RESTful API integration and third-party libraries.
- Knowledge of mobile CI/CD pipelines and mobile UI/UX principles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Preferred experience includes fraud management, KYC/AML, regulatory reporting, on-device biometrics, released Google Play applications, AppConfig community standards, enterprise app distribution, and AI-assisted development tools.
- A college degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, is preferred.
