Base Salary
$149k - $199k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product and project management to translate requirements into technical specifications and timelines.
- Partner with other engineering teams to deliver effective technical solutions.
- Write, maintain, and enforce code quality through test-driven development.
- Contribute to development, coding, maintenance, and system standards.
- Support software throughout its lifecycle, including new implementations, technical maintenance, and documentation.
- Apply judgment to identify, resolve, and develop solutions for complex architectural application changes.
- Support and mentor developers through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical leadership.
- Review code and pull requests to ensure product and design specifications are met.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or equivalent work experience.
- At least 5 years of experience building highly scalable and performant modern JavaScript, TypeScript, iOS, or Android applications.
- Ability to write well-documented, clear, and robust code.
- Proven ability to integrate API specifications while collaborating with service teams.
- Ability to manage projects from beginning to end, design workflows, and complete tasks under urgent timelines.
- Ability to support and mentor developers by building trust, providing instruction, and offering constructive feedback.
- Preferred experience shipping production-level React, Node.js, or mobile applications with high availability and throughput on cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Strong understanding of web and mobile accessibility fundamentals, standards, and new technologies.
