Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and own features within the core enterprise integration layer.
- Implement event-driven, serverless solutions using Azure Service Bus and Azure Functions.
- Design, build, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and contribute to shared architecture decisions.
- Collaborate with the Principal Architect, technical leads, and developers across business verticals.
- Own assigned work from planning through delivery with minimal oversight.
- Communicate progress, blockers, and technical decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Participate in code reviews and promote code quality, testing, and CI/CD best practices.
- Troubleshoot complex distributed-cloud issues using Application Insights or equivalent APM tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field is desired, or equivalent professional experience.
- 8+ years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in C# and .NET 6/8, including .NET Core, with a track record of delivering complex backend solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Azure Service Bus, Azure Functions, API Management, and Application Insights.
- Experience with event-driven and serverless architectures, scalable RESTful APIs, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design, SOLID principles, design patterns, and unit/integration testing.
- Experience with observability or APM tools such as Application Insights, Datadog, or New Relic.
- Comfort working in shared-ownership architecture models and contributing to technical strategy.
- Active use of AI-assisted development tools such as Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or Cursor.
- Advanced English proficiency and strong communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes CQRS/Mediator patterns, gRPC, TDD, monolith-to-microservices migrations, and multicultural or distributed teams.
