Responsibilities
- Design and implement capabilities and workflows for real-world perception or planning and prediction systems.
- Use Applied Intuition products to build the software and infrastructure foundation for machine learning development.
- Contribute to engineering best practices and help advance autonomous systems in a customer-focused team environment.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building production software using modern software practices.
- End-to-end development experience with deep learning models, including modeling, input pipelines, evaluation, deployment, and model optimization.
- Fluency in C++, or fluency in Python with intermediate experience in C++.
- Deep understanding of the concepts and methods behind frameworks or libraries used.
- Experience with production-level ML and deep learning perception algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
- Preferred: MSc or PhD in machine learning, ideally focused on perception, prediction, planning, or a related field.
- Preferred: experience building and shipping software frameworks or tools.
- Preferred: experience with driver assistance or autonomous driving systems.
- Preferred: experience evaluating and improving system-in-the-loop model performance.
- Preferred: hands-on expertise in nonlinear optimization, computational geometry, numerical analysis, or distributed systems.
