Responsibilities
- Design and implement capabilities and workflows for real-world perception or planning and prediction systems.
- Use Applied Intuition products to build the software and infrastructure foundation for machine-learning development.
- Contribute to and learn from autonomy-industry engineering practices in a dynamic, customer-focused team.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience building production software using modern software practices.
- Experience with the end-to-end development cycle of deep-learning models.
- Expertise in modeling, input pipelines, evaluation, deployment, and model optimization.
- Fluency in C++, or fluency in Python with intermediate experience in C++.
- Deep understanding of the concepts and methods behind relevant frameworks and libraries.
- Experience with production-level ML and DL perception algorithms for autonomous vehicles.
- An MSc or PhD in machine learning, ideally focused on perception, prediction, planning, or a related field, is nice to have.
- Experience building and shipping software frameworks or tools is nice to have.
- Experience with driver-assistance or autonomous-driving systems is nice to have.
- Experience evaluating and improving system-in-the-loop model performance is nice to have.
- Hands-on expertise in algorithms or methods such as nonlinear optimization, computational geometry, numerical analysis, or distributed systems is nice to have.
