Base Salary
$100k - $150k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and own parking functionalities such as Automated Parking Assist, Remote Parking, and Automated Valet Parking
- Develop and integrate planning and control components for low-speed parking scenarios
- Use simulation and data tooling to track and improve KPIs across virtual tests and real-world data
- Test software hands-on in vehicles on test tracks and public roads
- Collaborate with simulation and data-tooling experts to accelerate function development
- Share components, tooling, and data processes with active-safety and L2++ teams
- Engage directly with customers to gather requirements and present solutions
- Contribute to the growth of software-defined vehicle solutions in Europe
Requirements
- At least four years of software development experience for driver assistance or automated-driving systems
- Proficiency in C++ and Python
- Experience developing parking or low-speed maneuvering functions, such as Automated Parking Assist, remote parking, or path planning in confined spaces
- Experience shipping ADAS or automated-driving software into series-production vehicles
- Experience with requirements engineering, structured testing, and automotive-grade software quality
- Ability to learn new technical concepts and tools quickly and take initiative in a fast-paced environment
- Preferred: series-project experience with parking functions including APA, AVP, or Remote Parking
- Preferred: familiarity with regulations and standards relevant to automated parking, including UN R79 and ISO 22737
- Preferred: hands-on experience with prototype vehicles
- Preferred: experience with simulation tools for scenario-based testing
- Preferred: experience in a fast-paced startup or technology environment
