Responsibilities
- Research client needs, assess options, and recommend efficient and robust software solutions.
- Develop high-quality, performant front-end code for banking cash-transaction applications.
- Identify improvement opportunities and lead refactoring efforts in existing programs.
- Collaborate with software engineers, product owners, team managers, and clients.
- Provide technical consultancy to ensure solutions meet client requirements.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and performance-test applications across different components.
- Use AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, automate repetitive work, support decisions, and validate outputs.
- Mentor colleagues and help develop team knowledge and skills.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of web application development experience using JavaScript or TypeScript.
- Experience with Angular, RxJS, Angular Material, SCSS, CSS, and HTML best practices.
- Fluent communication skills in English and German.
- Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem-solving, and performance-testing abilities.
- Experience analyzing project requirements and delivering reliable solutions across application components.
- Understanding of client-server communication, protocols, and REST principles.
- Experience working in cross-functional agile squads using Scrum or SAFe.
- Proficiency with Git and Atlassian tools.
- Hands-on experience with pair programming, TDD, DDD, and simple design practices.
- Ability to adapt strategies and working methods to project needs.
- Knowledge of NodeJS, Docker, application lifecycle, and CI/CD is beneficial.
- Security and UI/UX experience is beneficial.
- Experience developing and mentoring colleagues with lower seniority is beneficial.
