Responsibilities
- Validate backend changes and design, develop, and execute system test scenarios.
- Validate data transmission between hardware devices and cloud services, including data storage and forwarding to other system components.
- Create, maintain, automate, and execute test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.
- Identify, analyze, document, and track software and system defects.
- Perform regression testing for release and maintenance activities.
- Contribute to test planning, test strategy, and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate with development and product teams throughout the software lifecycle.
- Ensure delivered features meet defined quality, performance, security, and reliability standards.
Requirements
- Strong experience in software testing, system testing, or quality assurance.
- Strong understanding of test design techniques and defect management processes.
- Experience with test management and issue-tracking tools.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Robot Framework.
- Understanding of APIs and data communication.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and drive quality improvements.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills and good written and spoken English.
- Knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms is preferred.
- Experience with IIoT, condition monitoring, or predictive maintenance solutions is preferred.
- Basic scripting or programming knowledge such as Python, JavaScript, or C# is preferred.
- Experience with performance, reliability, or security testing is preferred.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices is preferred.
