Responsibilities
- Plan and develop engineering solutions aligned with business goals.
- Manage Angular frontend application analysis, development, and administration.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solution designs.
- Coordinate implementation with vendors, support testing, and ensure handover to production and L2 Support.
- Align solution designs with the technical platform modernization strategy.
- Serve as an L3 Support subject matter expert and analyze incidents and business requests to drive resolution.
- Provide functional oversight of engineering delivery for specific departments.
- Build reliability, resiliency, maintainability, and reusability into solutions through appropriate testing and reviews.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Angular 16 or later, including component-based architecture, services, routing, forms, and dependency injection.
- Strong proficiency in RxJS and reactive programming concepts, including observables and operators.
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Strong command of semantic HTML and modern CSS/SCSS, plus experience with responsive interfaces and Bootstrap.
- Working knowledge of Node.js and NPM for dependency and build management.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests with Jasmine and Karma.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, coding standards, debugging, and version-controlled development workflows.
- Knowledge of Agile techniques including User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Working, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence and experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- Knowledge of cards and strong English-language communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree from a college or university with a focus on IT or data evaluation, or comparable professional experience.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
