Responsibilities
- Design and develop frontend solutions for the Germany cards team aligned with business goals.
- Translate business and functional requirements into technical solution designs.
- Manage implementation jointly with vendors, support testing, and ensure handover to production and L2 support.
- Align solution designs with the technical platform modernization strategy.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for L3 support and analyze incidents and business requests to drive resolution.
- Provide functional oversight of engineering delivery and review engineering plans and quality to improve reuse and engineering capability.
- Build reliable, resilient, maintainable, reusable, and well-integrated engineering solutions.
- Participate in design, development, debugging, and version-controlled delivery workflows.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience with Angular 16 or later, including component-based architecture, services, routing, forms, and dependency injection.
- Strong proficiency in RxJS and reactive programming concepts, including observables and operators.
- Advanced knowledge of TypeScript and JavaScript.
- Strong command of semantic HTML and modern CSS/SCSS.
- Experience building responsive user interfaces with Bootstrap.
- Working knowledge of Node.js and NPM for dependency and build management.
- Experience writing and maintaining unit tests with Jasmine and Karma.
- Understanding of software engineering principles, coding standards, debugging, and version-controlled development workflows.
- Knowledge of Agile techniques including User Stories, Acceptance Test Driven Development, Behavior Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Pair Working, Automated Testing, and Agile Games.
- Familiarity with JIRA and Confluence.
- Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment and knowledge of cards.
- Bachelor’s degree from a college or university with a focus on IT or data evaluation, or comparable professional experience.
- Ability to use AI tools to improve productivity and workflows while applying responsible and ethical judgment to data and AI outputs.
- Good communication and English language skills, with a proactive team-oriented approach.
