Responsibilities
- Lead application systems analysis, design, and full-stack development for new or revised enterprise applications.
- Partner with management teams to integrate functions, define system enhancements, and deploy products and process improvements.
- Resolve complex, high-impact business and technical problems through in-depth systems and industry analysis.
- Apply advanced programming knowledge and ensure application designs follow the overall architecture blueprint.
- Develop coding, testing, debugging, implementation, and system design standards.
- Serve as a technical advisor and coach to mid-level developers and analysts, including allocating work.
- Provide technical leadership for an agile development team and champion CI/CD best practices.
- Promote developer-led automated testing and continuous improvement of SDLC, agile, and DevOps processes using DORA metrics.
- Assess and escalate technology, compliance, and operational risks appropriately.
Requirements
- 15+ years of relevant experience in application development and systems analysis.
- Bachelor's or university degree, or equivalent experience; a master's degree is preferred.
- Expert hands-on knowledge of Angular, React, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and the Spring Framework stack.
- Deep understanding of microservices architecture, best practices, and design patterns, with Spring Boot microservices preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Oracle and MongoDB/NoSQL technologies.
- Experience with Git-based source control and Jira.
- Java and test-driven development expertise, including unit testing and other SDLC activities.
- Experience with enterprise-level architecture, system analysis, high- and low-level system design, and API gateways.
- Experience managing and implementing successful projects, with demonstrated leadership and project management skills.
- Kafka knowledge, UI technology knowledge, Agile/Scrum experience, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize changing workloads, multitask, work independently and collaboratively, and communicate effectively with business stakeholders.
