Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and lead scalable test automation frameworks using Java, Python, and Cucumber.
- Define and execute an automation strategy aligned with business goals and technology roadmaps.
- Drive best practices in code quality, testing, maintainability, and Agile quality engineering.
- Integrate quality engineering and continuous testing into CI/CD pipelines.
- Build and manage isolated, scalable testing environments using Docker and OpenShift.
- Oversee quality assurance for critical trading systems, including the Lightspeed platform.
- Collaborate with development, DevOps, and business teams across the software development lifecycle.
- Evaluate AI-powered development tools and emerging test automation and financial technology trends.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in a senior software or automation engineering role with demonstrated leadership and strategic impact.
- In-depth knowledge of the FIX protocol.
- Expert-level proficiency in Java and Python.
- Deep hands-on experience with BDD frameworks, particularly Cucumber.
- Strong expertise with Docker and OpenShift.
- Experience designing, building, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, such as Jenkins or GitLab CI.
- Experience in financial services and exposure to trading systems.
- Strong problem-solving and technical architecture skills.
- Knowledge of algorithmic trading and Smart Order Routing is advantageous.
- Bachelor's or university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
