Base Salary
$147k - $190k/yr
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to align infrastructure decisions.
- Optimize cloud usage and AI-token consumption while advising stakeholders on cost-efficient architecture.
- Analyze usage and billing data and develop FinOps capabilities for AI-agent workloads across AWS and multi-cloud environments.
- Lead infrastructure engineering workstreams, architect and implement platform changes, and troubleshoot moderate-complexity issues.
- Consider upstream and downstream technical implications and advise on mitigation actions.
- Use and validate enterprise-authorized AI capabilities and AI-assisted automation practices in accordance with resiliency, security, data-sensitivity, and auditability requirements.
Requirements
- Formal training or certification in infrastructure engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience.
- Experience optimizing on-premises and/or cloud infrastructure.
- Experience with Databricks catalogs and queries.
- Knowledge of how tokens are used at the application level.
- Experience with Python coding.
- Deep knowledge of AWS cloud infrastructure and multiple cloud technologies, including operating in and migrating across public and private clouds.
- Deep knowledge of one or more infrastructure engineering areas.
- Experience using enterprise-authorized AI capabilities in infrastructure engineering workflows, with strong validation habits and awareness of data sensitivity.
- Ability to review and validate AI-assisted recommendations before implementation and escalate uncertainty while maintaining resiliency, security, and auditability expectations.
- Preferred: FinOps practices for AI or agent workloads, data wrangling, and SRE practices.
