Responsibilities
- Engage with customers at all stages of their development lifecycle.
- Create sales presentations and product demonstrations.
- Educate customers on cloud security technology.
- Identify and address customers' technical needs through detailed questioning.
- Advise customers on the capabilities of Okta’s Identity Platform.
Requirements
- Experience in a customer-facing role, ideally in sales engineering.
- Ability to communicate complex technical ideas effectively.
- Familiarity with standard network security protocols like OIDC, OAuth2, SAML, and LDAP.
- Experience in identity governance and administration (IGA) and Privilege Access Management (PAM).
- Understanding of core security concerns in applications.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate business value.
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, typically 10-25%.
