Responsibilities
- Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Catalog, CMDB, and Discovery.
- Develop integrations between ServiceNow and enterprise systems using REST, SOAP, MID Server, JDBC, LDAP, and related technologies.
- Create and maintain design specifications, development guides, technical documentation, and test plans.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and deliver projects.
- Perform unit and integration testing and support user acceptance testing.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for ServiceNow issues and implement root-cause solutions.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
- Monitor ServiceNow platform releases and new features.
- Mentor junior developers and share technical knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and capabilities.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, GlideScript, HTML, CSS, and ServiceNow APIs.
- Experience with ServiceNow scripting, workflow design, UI policies, client scripts, business rules, and UI actions.
- Demonstrated experience with ServiceNow integrations, including REST, SOAP, JDBC, and LDAP.
- ServiceNow Certified Application Developer and/or Certified System Administrator certifications are highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced offshore environment.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
