Responsibilities
- Lead the technical design, development, and evolution of software solutions.
- Define scalable, maintainable, and secure software architectures, technical standards, and engineering practices.
- Design and supervise solutions using Microsoft Azure and serverless architectures.
- Guide backend development using Node.js and .NET and participate in Kotlin-related components or services.
- Design, build, and supervise API integrations.
- Apply design patterns and software architecture principles.
- Use Git and promote effective collaboration and code review practices.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, and provide technical guidance.
- Identify technical risks, technical debt, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with development, product, and stakeholder teams to turn business needs into technology solutions.
- Support resolution of complex technical problems and architecture decisions.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Tech Lead, Technical Lead, Software Architect, Senior Software Engineer, or similar.
- Solid experience designing and defining software architectures.
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure and serverless architectures and services.
- Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and principles.
- Solid backend development experience with Node.js and/or .NET.
- Knowledge of Kotlin.
- Experience designing, building, consuming, and integrating APIs.
- Knowledge of design patterns, development best practices, and software engineering principles.
- Experience using Git and modern collaborative development workflows.
- Ability to evaluate technology alternatives and make decisions based on scalability, security, maintainability, and performance.
- Technical leadership, communication, collaboration, analysis, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to mentor and technically support other developers.
- Intermediate English is desirable.
- Residence in Colima, Guadalajara, or an area allowing attendance at one of those locations when required.
