Base Salary
$168k - $245k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and deliver functional and non-functional backend features.
- Drive product integrations and AI-native solutions across Cisco’s portfolio.
- Collaborate with frontend and infrastructure teams on end-to-end delivery.
- Build and maintain scalable, reliable, and high-performance backend services.
- Work with AI pipelines, data pipelines, scalable data ingestion, and third-party integrations.
- Mentor and guide junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
Requirements
- 7–10 years of hands-on backend development experience.
- Experience with Go, Java, or Rust.
- Experience with AWS and monitoring or observability tools including ELK, Splunk, or Datadog.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Preferred: familiarity with AI pipelines and related technologies.
- Preferred: experience building data pipelines, highly scalable data ingestion systems, and third-party integrations such as ServiceNow.
- Preferred: experience mentoring or coaching other developers.
