Base Salary
$136k - $232k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and develop object-oriented software in C/C++ using software design patterns.
- Develop multi-threaded and multi-process software for distributed and HPC systems.
- Perform Linux system programming and scripting using Python.
- Understand and work with various networking stacks.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex HPC systems and clearly communicate technical problems.
- Potentially build and configure Linux kernels, troubleshoot network infrastructure, and develop Linux device drivers.
Requirements
- Doctorate degree with 0 years of related work experience, or a master's degree with 3 years of related work experience, or a bachelor's degree with 5 years of related work experience.
- Experience with C/C++ object-oriented design, software design patterns, distributed and HPC systems, multi-threaded and multi-process development, and Linux system programming.
- Experience with Python scripting and understanding of various networking stacks.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies for networking, storage, containerization, and computing clusters is desirable.
- Experience with Linux kernel configuration, network infrastructure, Linux device drivers, real-time complex HPC systems, and HPC diagnosis and troubleshooting is desirable.
