Base Salary

$187k - $268k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Implement platform security features and core infrastructure using Go or Java.
  • Design secure patterns for AI/ML model deployment, data protection, and inference security.
  • Automate security tooling, vulnerability remediation, and continuous compliance checks using Python.
  • Translate Cisco security mandates and procedures into code, control expectations, and automated remediation workflows.
  • Review feature designs, AI architectures, and infrastructure changes for security gaps and recommend balanced mitigations.
  • Guide prioritization, assignment, tracking, and closure of findings from automated scans, penetration tests, and security reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of experience designing and maintaining production-quality backend systems.
  • At least 5 years using Go or Java within a microservices architecture.
  • At least 3 years focused on DevSecOps or application security.
  • Experience with Python security automation and tooling, secure development lifecycle requirements, vulnerability triage, automated security scan findings, and SLA-based remediation workflows.
  • Preferred experience includes AI/ML workload security, OWASP Top 10 for LLMs, MLOps security, AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Cisco security processes, SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR/privacy regulations, CISSP, CCSP, or cloud-provider developer certifications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for discussing software security trade-offs.

  • The U.S./Canada starting salary range is $186,900 to $267,700, with location-specific ranges also listed.
