Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers.
- Build distributed microservices and full-stack systems that address regulatory and business needs.
- Collaborate with digital product managers to deliver robust cloud-based solutions.
- Use Java, Python, SQL, Node.js, Go, Scala, databases, container orchestration, and AWS services.
- Mentor members of the engineering community and occasionally write or evaluate code.
- Stay current with technology trends and participate in internal and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- At least 6 years of professional software engineering experience required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 1 year of cloud computing experience with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud required.
- Preferred: master’s degree.
- Preferred: 9+ years of experience with Java, Scala, Python, Go, or Node.js.
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with open-source frameworks.
- Preferred: 1+ years of people management experience.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Agile practices.
- Preferred: experience using interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion.
