Base Salary
$197k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Develop robust cloud-based solutions in collaboration with digital product managers.
- Provide technical leadership across Agile teams and establish standards for design, development, and operational excellence.
- Partner with architects to define service boundaries, integration patterns, and reusable frameworks.
- Identify improvement opportunities, refactor systems, reduce technical debt, and enhance performance.
- Influence long-term technology strategy and evaluate emerging tools and practices.
- Mentor engineers and contribute to internal and external technology communities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
- At least 4 years of software engineering experience, excluding internships.
- At least 2 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies.
- Preferred qualifications include a master's degree, 7+ years coding experience across multiple listed languages, and 3+ years with databases, cloud technologies, front-end frameworks, or cloud troubleshooting.
- Preferred experience includes open source frameworks, APIs, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing, Git-based version control, observability, AI coding tools, and interactive AI tooling.
- Preferred experience includes mentoring engineers, leading cross-functional engineering efforts, and establishing coding standards and design patterns.
