Base Salary
$191k - $206k/yr
Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and develop software for Indices software platforms.
- Design, develop, and maintain solutions across multiple technology platforms.
- Build Java full-stack applications for web platform systems.
- Migrate existing applications to Java-based microservices and deploy them using containers.
- Perform requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, documentation, unit testing, and error resolution.
- Support new initiatives and existing Index applications.
- Tune application and system performance and troubleshoot performance issues.
- Apply object-oriented concepts and design patterns.
- Set up development environments and application-development sandboxes.
- Interface with databases to extract information and build reports.
- Interact with customers, business users, and IT staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related IT field.
- Five years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
- Five years of experience developing concurrent and distributed systems using Java.
- Experience with HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and Angular 2+.
- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, Hazelcast, and Redis.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices-based solutions.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests and SQL queries, with an understanding of data models.
- Experience with cloud technologies, container-based DevOps development and deployment, and CI/CD pipelines.
