Responsibilities
- Prepare, maintain, and execute manual test cases based on user stories, present results, and track defects to closure.
- Prepare, maintain, and execute automated test scripts while maintaining traceability from business requirements through test cases and scripts.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing solutions and reusable test automation frameworks.
- Conduct functional, non-functional, regression, browser, performance, capacity, stress, resiliency, and infrastructure testing.
- Review test coverage and automation approaches with customers and incorporate feedback.
- Track test execution milestones and report issues, risks, and dependencies that may affect project timelines.
- Lead and mentor test engineers by providing guidance, training, and support.
- Construct end-to-end business scenarios and develop a detailed understanding of delivered products.
- Collaborate with delivery pipeline teams to drive adoption and resolve open issues.
- Identify and maintain environmental and test-data requirements, and ensure process compliance and documentation.
- Align risk and control processes with daily responsibilities to supervise and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of related experience.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- Hands-on experience with API/XML testing, Selenium, and Java.
- Extensive experience testing components based on modern scripting languages.
- Experience writing SQL queries.
- Experience with JIRA, Micro Focus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins.
- Experience with front-end and back-end testing using Java and Selenium.
- Experience coordinating onsite/offshore work models and working in Agile and Waterfall environments.
- In-depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle, including testing models, methodologies, and processes.
- Detailed understanding of smoke testing, black-box testing, non-black-box testing, and regression testing.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business clients and technical teams.
- Financial-domain experience preferred.
