Responsibilities
- Create and maintain test strategies, test plans, test cases, and test scripts for complex applications.
- Develop, maintain, and expand automated test suites and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.
- Maintain test source code in Git-based configuration control systems.
- Perform manual, regression, and exploratory testing for new features and edge cases.
- Set up and maintain product deployments in on-premise and cloud test environments.
- Identify, document, track, and triage software defects with clear reproduction steps.
- Partner with developers and product owners to define acceptance criteria, review user stories, and embed QA practices in sprint planning.
- Drive quality improvements through design, code, and test plan reviews.
- Use AI-assisted tools for test-code creation, test-scenario generation, debugging, refactoring, upgrades, and vulnerability patching.
- Review AI-generated code for architectural alignment, design quality, and performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech, or M.E. with 10+ years of experience.
- Proven experience with modern test automation tools.
- Hands-on experience using AI code-assist tools such as Claude and Cursor.
- Experience testing RESTful APIs.
- Familiarity with Git, issue-tracking tools such as Rally and Jira, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
- Experience with Windows, macOS, and Unix operating systems and cross-platform development and testing.
- Understanding of cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, and GCP.
- Strong working knowledge of Agile/Scrum environments.
- Understanding of security protocols, web security standards, networking, and communication protocols.
- Understanding of AI spec-driven development, context engineering, token optimization, agent orchestration, and multi-agent workflows.
