Responsibilities
- Architect and own scalable test automation frameworks for functional, regression, and non-functional testing.
- Integrate automated testing into Jenkins, GitHub, and CloudBees delivery toolchains as needed by application teams.
- Define and standardize QE practices, reusable libraries, and automation patterns across engineering teams.
- Partner with application QE leads to implement shift-left testing and quality-by-design.
- Design and implement AI-assisted testing solutions using LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering, context design, and agentic workflows.
- Drive adoption of Playwright, Selenium, and other modern automation tools and frameworks.
- Enable self-service automation and quality reporting dashboards for engineering teams.
- Lead architecture reviews, mentor QE engineers and architects, and resolve complex automation challenges.
- Create playbooks, training, and rollout plans while evaluating emerging QE technologies and measuring adoption and impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of experience in Information Technology or Engineering.
- 12+ years of software quality engineering experience, including 3+ years in test architecture and framework design.
- Hands-on expertise with Playwright and/or Selenium, REST API testing, and JavaScript/TypeScript or Python automation frameworks.
- Working knowledge of LLMs and context design for quality engineering use cases.
- Experience applying AI-assisted solutions to functional, UAT, performance, and security testing.
- Experience using AI tools for test case generation, code review support, and defect triage.
- Understanding of agentic AI patterns for autonomous test agents and end-to-end workflows.
- Ability to integrate AI solutions with business processes and enterprise IT infrastructure.
- Experience designing scalable QE architectures and solving complex, ambiguous engineering problems.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Preferred experience designing and building GenAI platforms.
- Exposure to AWS and Azure cloud ecosystems.
- Experience integrating test automation into Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CloudBees toolchains.
