Responsibilities
- Iterate on features using Scala and React in an agile manner.
- Build core systems within a microservices architecture.
- Ship code quickly and iterate on features.
- Collaborate with diverse teams and provide feedback.
- Execute on significant opportunities to enhance Hopper's market position.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and architectural performance.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with various specialists.
- Ability to write testable, high-quality code.
- Prior experience with cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with Scala and/or React and its libraries.
- Experience in the airline/travel industry or eCommerce is preferred.
- Knowledge of UX design tools like Figma is a plus.
